Making our Planet Greener
2016-2019 : In cooperation with DTU (Technical University of Denmark) a proof-of-concept test unit was constructed basis the New Invented Gas Sulphur Removal Technology (container-based set up). This Test Unit concluded several life-testing programs at different Biogas production sites in Denmark. Next the Sulphur Removal Technology was tested and used in the BIO-REFUEL EU-Funded projects. BIO-REFUEL 1 was finished in 2017 and consisted of a proof-of-concept (25 Nm3/h inlet biogas) CO2 methanation installation, where raw Biogas was transformed to BioMethane. BIO-REFUEL 2 is still running and will transform Biogas into Methanol.
2020 : NGCC concludes a exclusive Cooperation Agreement with Calvert Technologies Group (https://www.englobal.com),
to combine both companies Exceptional Technologies : Advanced Gas Cleaning Technology from NGCC + State-Of-The-Art GTL Technology from the Calvert Group. This interesting cooperation makes it possible to design and propose Complete Turnkey installations to transform CH4 into Liquid Fuels like Diesel or SAF. Due to the Total H2S Removal also very sour gas fields can be treated, which today mainly are being flared off. (Global Reduction of Flare Gasses). Also interesting new fields and markets like conversion of Biogas towards SAF (sustainable aircraft fuel) can get viewed and developed.
2021 : Construction of new TEST UNITS for customer onsite testing.
2022 : One full-equipped Test Container Unit was send to a Major Steel Producer in Spain, where it got positioned on a life Coke-
Oven Gas exit stream. Our unit has treaten a representative gas flow stream of 50 Nm3/h to effectively remove sulfur species as present (H2S, organic Sulphurs). At the same time the effectiveness of our system in regards to the removal of TAR & Amines was tested. The unit was installed on the customer's premisses in May and has seen a test run for a full-month period.
LIVE TEST AT COKE OVEN GAS WAS SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED. All Goals and all Specifications were reached,
